41 Place des Vosges, Marais
Enjoy the wonderful fountains and the free museum but sadly not
the interior of the Queen and King Pavilion houses.
42 (52) Paris Opera or Opéra de Paris Garnier
Paris Opéra, is a 2,200-seat opera house in Paris. Apart
from the architecture the Opéra Garnier's main attraction
is ballet. It was also officially renamed 'Palais Opera'.
The 'Phantom of the Opera' lake still exists under the opera building.
43 Musée Bourdelle
The Bourdelle Museum has over 500 works of things to look at and
if you are child, or young at heart, you can make your own.
44 The Galeries
The emphasis is on ‘comparative’ anatomy with specimens
separated by millions of years of evolution presented in close proximity.
The mammoth and blue whale are great chums.
45 (53) Parc André Citroën
The Parc André Citroën is a park with many gardens.
A few are listed below:
The White Garden
The white garden is dog and child friendly complete with playground.
The Black Garden
The evil, unfriendly black, dark garden is full of witch craft
and devil worship…not. The Dark Garden is however kept from
the main section of Parc Andre Citroen. You reach it via a walkway.
The Black Garden is for Peace, quiet and contemplation. It naturally
contains dark plants and flowers. A chance to chill out and read
a book (about sorcery aha!!)
The Changing Garden
The Changing Garden is blooming great with a seasonal flowers and
things that go dead in winter (see black garden ? ) and some that
don’t of course.
The Scent Garden
Smell the roses.
The Taste Garden
Not sure you are suppose and probably ill advised if you did.
The Garden of Movement
Trifids(?) and other plants just hang out and do as they please.
Perhaps this garden should be renamed the teenage garden. The plants
go wild and stay unprunned. Thankfully you can’t hear them.
Parc André Citroën awakes at dawn on weekdays, has
a lay in at the weekends and generally sticks around until about
6.
